This short, five-minute video is from the "dry run" we did of the Harbor Bridge in Corpus Christi on June 14th, 2008. The bridge is not as difficult to climb as it would appear from a distance. The steel supports make it look steeper and more challenging than it actually is. Just get into your lowest gear, and spin your way up. If you can, alternate between a sitting and a standing climb, so you can involve different muscle groups. It's a long climb, but not steep, and you'll be at the top enjoying the glorious view of the city, the bay, and Whataburger Field (the finish line) before you know it!
