Jerseys are In!
The jerseys came in yesterday. PJ sorted them all, and got them to HQ Office Services which is mailing them out today for all the out of town bulk orders (Ardmore, Paulsboro, Delaware City) - they should be in early next week. I apologize for them being a little late, but Vomax told me they had to run them through manufacuting twice, because there were some problems with the first run. We only have 3 jerseys left; contact patricia.jones@valero.com if you are interested in purchasing any of these. Our next jersey sale will be in the Fall for the BTTB.
Goodie Bags
This year we have some very nice goodie bag items.
-
Under armor style black shirt with team logo on the left chest
-
Water proof wallet for money, driver's license, etc., while riding
-
Socks
-
Whistles and Tattoos
I'll be bringing a batch of these for each of your riders to the out of town rides I attend, and will be mailing them to Paulsboro and Delaware City. What I'll need from each of you is the number and sizes of the shirts you'll need by Tuesday, 05/06, at noon, so I can get my volunteers to help me sort them. HP bought the shirts and socks for us again, and HQ Community Relations bought the other items.
NOTE: I'll also have to mail the shirts to Benicia, because Philip from the Specialty Shop said they botched the first run of the shirts, and I won't get the re-run until Tuesday.
Rider of the Week
Please send me any candidates you have for our New Rider of the Week feature of the web site. To see some examples, click here. I just need a digital photo of the rider on his or her bike, and for them to answer the following questions - it's really quite painless.
- Where do work and what do you do?
- Any other personal info you want to share?
- When did you start riding?
- What made you want to join Velo Valero and ride the Tour de Cure?
- How much training are you doing?
