Come join us in the gorgeous Texas Hill Country for the LBJ 100 Bicycle Tour, commemorating the birth centennial and the “can-do” spirit of our 36th U.S. President. Scheduled for April 19, 2008, rain or shine, in the Lyndon B. Johnson National Historical Park in Stonewall TX, the ride will introduce planned changes to the Park, whereby cyclists and other visitors will experience a wide and welcoming exposure to the history and majesty of this national treasure. Offering a 10-mile family ride in addition to 31, 45, and 62-mile (metric century) loops, this fully-supported Tour traverses quiet ranch roads at the height of wildflower season. Tour cost is $25.00 until April 5, $35.00 thereafter. All riders get a t-shirt, and a commemorative bandana, used by LBJ for visiting dignitaries during his Presidency.
